The Pintcast is back, Jack! Joseph has returned relaxed and tanned after a week up the Gold Coast and the Confederations Cup has delivered some tantalizing football.

Neither semifinal was the walk in the park that many had expected, Uruguay and Italy would both have been deserving finalists and gave us some thoroughly entertaining matches.

La Rubia Forlan should have never taken that penalty, but the Brazilians persevered with their newfound grit.

Silly season is upon us in full swing and it seems now that all the managers are in place the dominoes will begin to fall. Hopefully by the new week Arsenal will have Higuain in place and the merry-go-round of strikers will begin to find homes.
